In December, the City of Montréal and the Ministry of Transportation released their final plans for the Bonaventure Project.
The infrastructure work, which began in 2011, is still progressing. The demolition and clearing of the elevated off-ramp will take place between 2015 and 2017, while the subsequent urban landscaping will be completed in 2017. The new green spaces will be a welcome sight in the neighborhood and soon enough we can all take advantage!
Thisarticle from the Montreal Gazette gives an interesting overview of the project, complete with images that allow us to visualize what the area will look like.

At the 2025 Montréal Climate Summit, we shared our vision of urban development that blends sustainability, innovation, and accessibility. A clear-eyed look at the challenges—and real pathways to move forward, together.
In the context of a housing crisis exacerbated by inflation, high interest rates, and climate challenges, Laurence Vincent, president of Prével, presented a bold initiative aimed at supporting young adults in acquiring their first home. This program, detailed in a brief submitted to the Quebec National Assembly, offers concrete solutions to counter intergenerational inequity in housing.
