“We are very pleased to announce the ground breaking of Pier 2b. After much effort over the past few months we can now go ahead with construction and build the fitness centre our clients are so eagerly awaiting. We have worked very closely with our partners to get this phase off the ground and we’re very proud of everyone’s continued collaboration,” says Jacques Vincent, co-president of Prével.

These 79 brand new units will complete the second phase of the project, located on the banks of the Lachine Canal in Griffintown. A project surrounded by water and green spaces, creating an exceptional resort-like feel. Residents live in a peaceful environment, away from the noise yet with quick access to downtown, Old Montreal and the Atwater Market. In the summer of 2017, new residents will take possession of their Basin Street condos in the heart of Griffintown. The entire project also benefits from the completion of the much awaited fitness centre totaling over 6000 ft2, complete with an indoor pool and spa.

Pier 2b offers a wide variety of 2 and 3 bedroom condos as well as two-storey units.

“Bassins du Havre is an LEED certified project offering exceptional quality construction, especially thanks to its energy efficiency and the quality of life found in each condo. We have, among other achievements, decreased average water consumption by 35%!” explains Denis Robitaille, President of Rachel Julien.

In order to achieve the energy norms for an LEED project, Bassins du Havre:

  • Has very well insulated and well-performing exterior walls

  • Has a very efficient central heating and air conditioning system

  • Reduced heat pockets found in urban areas by strictly controlling materials used on the building and thoughtfully landscaping the site

  • Uses solar energy to heat the pool water and domestic hot water

Pier 2b also offers residents a wide range of quality finishes and materials. Residents benefit from:

  • A central heating and air conditioning system within each unit augmented by fresh air intake through air exchangers

  • High-end engineered wood floors (width 3½” or 5”)

  • Wood plated or brillanté kitchen cabinets

  • AEG brand oven and stovetop

  • A Fisher & Paykel refrigerator

  • 9’ plaster-finished ceilings

Bassins du Havre is for people hoping to enjoy all of the services and activities Montreal has to offer, all while living in a peaceful environment surrounded by greenery and water.

Delivery of Pier 2b is scheduled for Summer/Fall 2017. Several interesting units are still available!
