Malgr\u00e9 un environnement imm\u00e9diat offrant une multitude d\u2019activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques et sociales ainsi qu\u2019une offre de transport en commun de qualit\u00e9, le secteur vivait certaines&nbsp;difficult\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\" style=\"--ratio:61.2262521589%\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/2011-03-27_Seville_verticale.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/2011-03-27_Seville_verticale.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-594\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Situ\u00e9 aux portes du centre des affaires de Montr\u00e9al, le <a href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shaughnessy_Village\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>village&nbsp;Shaughnessy<\/strong><\/a> est identifi\u00e9 comme un quartier central strat\u00e9gique de la m\u00e9tropole. Le secteur pr\u00e9sente des opportunit\u00e9s majeures&nbsp;<span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">en termes de d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9sidentiel et suscite un nouvel int\u00e9r\u00eat.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">Le Programme particulier d&rsquo;urbanisme (PPU) du Quartier des grands jardins propose plusieurs avenues int\u00e9ressantes :<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">1. Valoriser et prot\u00e9ger le patrimoine montr\u00e9alais ainsi que les paysages urbains. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">2. Am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019habitat et des services aux citoyens.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">3. Stimuler le dynamisme \u00e9conomique.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">4. Promouvoir la revitalisation de la rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">5. Am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;offre en espaces verts.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.538em;\">L\u2019int\u00e9gration de diff\u00e9rents projets immobiliers va non seulement revitaliser le quartier mais encourager une utilisation des divers moyens de transports \u00e9cologiques soit, la marche, le v\u00e9lo, les transports en commun et l\u2019usage collectif de la voiture.
