Following its success in previous years, Burger Week is back for a fifth year in Montreal, but also in five other cities across Canada from Vancouver to Quebec! And if you had planned to leave the city for the West Indies between September 1st and 7th, know that the city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti is also involved!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded by two amateur burger cronies Thierry Rassam and Na’eem Adam, the event is as coveted by the public as it is by restaurateurs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Staple In All Corners of Montreal<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This gathering of restaurateurs, which has grown from thirty to fifty participants, brought nearly 150,000 burger aficionados together last year in Montreal! It\u2019s an opportunity for participants and chefs to show off their chops on a dish as popular as it is delicious…<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years we\u2019ve seen chefs go international looking for new products, textures and presentations while others have stuck to the fundamentals and improved on them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of all the different burgers we tried, here are the three we think are definitely worth a look!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Saint Henri, Burgundy Lion Pub <\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For those who don\u2019t know this place, it\u2019s as welcoming as it is exciting. It\u2019s name, and atmosphere scream comfortable Anglo-Saxon pub. The clientele is mostly from the neighborhood, and sometimes people seem to know it all. But once you take a look at the menu you quickly realize people don\u2019t only come here to drink beer! The food is fresh, varied, and high-quality\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

Burgundy Lion\u2019s <\/span>Fish Burger is very inspiring, and no surprise they use fried cod from Britain. Accompanied with lettuce, tomato, American cheese, tartar sauce and a brioche, the term comfort food immediately comes to mind!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Old Montreal, the Bulldog Beer House <\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This Old Montreal spot has street food in its heart, so it was only natural that the Bulldog Beer House participates in Burger Week!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant is colorful, young, lively, and has already won over many people with its atmosphere. You\u2019ll find a classic menu; from burgers to nachos, to homemade <\/span>mac n’ cheese. We love that they suggest pairings of “food and beer!”<\/p>\n\n\n
