Shortly after the opening of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/blogue\/cafe-district-nouvelle-adresse-cafe-au-21e-arrondissement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Cafe District<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, a little earlier this Fall, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tejanobbqburrito.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Tejano BBQ Burrito<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is now opening a restaurant on William Street. With a first address in Saint-Henri, Old Montreal was a logical choice for the owners of the Tejano BBQ Burrito, also behind the Black Strap BBQ joint in Verdun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><em><strong>\u201cWe thought that the Tejano would be a good food fit for the neighborhood\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span> says Dylan Kier, one of the 3 owners. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p dir=\"ltr\"><span><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><em><strong>\u201cI like Old Montreal a lot, there\u2019s a lot of things going on\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/span>he adds.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image image\" style=\"--ratio:66.6666666667%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/burritos_0.jpg\" alt=\"The pulled pork burrito, with guacamole, is one of the best seller at Tejano BBQ Burrito\" class=\"wp-image-1003529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/burritos_0.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/burritos_0-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption>The pulled pork burrito, with guacamole, is one of the best seller at Tejano BBQ Burrito<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\">Tejano BBQ Burrito, which offers tex-mex cuisine, was born out of the love of Dylan for mexican cuisine and Texan BBQs. With Clara Barron and Ryan Bloom, the first Tejano BBQ Burrito opened in Saint-Henri in 2014. 2 years later, Tejano is opening a second one in Old Montreal,&nbsp;to the delights of neighborhood residents and workers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\">Burritos are the star of the menu, but tacos and salads are also available. &nbsp;The meats, whether it\u2019s the pulled pork, the chicken tinga or the BBQ Beef are slowly smoked and cooked following a recipe elaborated and tested until it reached perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><em><strong>\u201cWe do very high quality burritos, made with very high quality ingredients, we have big portion sizes, it\u2019s very fresh with a lot of healthy choices\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, says Dylan. <\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size:18px;\"><em><strong>\u201cWe are very quick as well, the service is very fast and friendly\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image image\" style=\"--ratio:66.6666666667%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog\/ingredients.jpg\" alt=\"Tejano BBQ Burrito also offers nice salads on the menu\" class=\"wp-image-1003531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog\/ingredients.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.prevel.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog\/ingredients-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption>Tejano BBQ Burrito also offers nice salads on the menu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\">Pickled onions, radishes, spanish rice, refried pinto beans or salsa are only a few of the options offered to garnish your burritos. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-150f04db-fd83-89ed-51cb-1e68033756d2\">The restaurant offers a few seated places so it\u2019s perfect for a quick bite or for take out.
