Between the antique dealers, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marchespublics-mtl.com\/English\/Atwater\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Atwater Market<\/strong><\/a> and the typical smoked meat and French fries Delis that give Notre-Dame Street its unique Montreal style, you can find a growing number of boutiques and stores filled with discoveries and pleasures. Strolling around, I recently made this find worth talking about. It consists of a 100% vegetarian restaurant called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonnys.ca\/home.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bonnys<\/strong><\/a>, named after its chef Bonnie Tees. She offers at her restaurant a gastronomical vegetarian cuisine, that showcases the freshness and tastes of local and seasonal products, while giving a strong preference to organically grown foods. Bonnie also puts in display a strong culinary knowledge, of which it would be crazy to go without. She is a graduate from both the <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalgourmetinstitute.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>New York Natural Gourmet Institute<\/strong><\/a> and the Institute of Macrobiotic, in Switzerland. After her studies, she worked in the kitchens of renowned vegetarian chefs in Europe and in the United States. Bonnys offers a<a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.bonnys.ca\/menu.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <strong>diversified menu<\/strong><\/a>, in which you\u2019ll find a large choice of dishes inspired from the many corners of the world. For example, they prepare a delicious ricotta tofu lasagna, a black beans, quinoa and sweet potatoes chili, a Mexican plate, and all kinds of wraps, veggie burgers, enchiladas, soups and salads. In addition, their many desserts are all more mouthwatering than the other, including a carrot cake topped with cashew and maple syrup icing. The restaurant\u2019s pledge to use fresh and seasonal products, and to prepare homemade dishes containing a strong dose of love, also implies a changing menu that you\u2019ll enjoy rediscovering all year round. So, be it for a gastronomical and healthy lunch, a cup of coffee accompanied with one of their delicious organic multigrain and chocolate chip muffin, for a dinner with friends that share your love for healthy and gastronomical cuisine or for their catering services, don\u2019t wait and visit Bonnie\u2019s team. They will greet you in their ne0-hippy joint with love and passion. Bonnys is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. They are closed on Sunday for a well deserved rest.
