Long live revitalized neighbourhoods<\/h2>

Over the years, we have committed to investing in the revitalization of neighbourhoods across the city, including Old Montr\u00e9al (Quai de la commune, \u00c9poques, 21e arrondissement), Griffintown (Lowney, Bassins du Havre), and Shaughnessy Village (Le S\u00e9ville, S sur le Square, Union sur le Parc). These projects have provided people with an opportunity to live in the heart of the city\u2014bringing new life and vitality to the area. <\/p>

The more people who live in a neighbourhood, the more services are available (shops, public transit, cultural activities, and more), and the livelier and more dynamic the area becomes.<\/p> <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Sustainable development in our projects<\/h2>

We were one of the first real estate developers to offer large-scale urban gardening in our buildings.<\/p>

For example, 21e arrondissement features 3,000 sq. ft. of cultivable gardens on one of its rooftops\u2014an activity aimed at reducing heat islands in addition to providing residents of the project and the neighbourhood with fresh produce.<\/p>

At the Loft Imp\u00e9rial project, rainwater is collected and used to water the plants in the interior courtyard, while the light-coloured reflective roofs and the green roof improve the buildings\u2019 energy efficiency and reduce heat island. Last, Esplanade Cartier\u2019s Phase 1 is aiming for the LEED\u00ae Gold Certification.<\/p> <\/div>
